| These two light-hearted compositions are based upon the Golden Section (sometimes known as the Divine Proportion). The top composition has two Golden Section rectangles placed vertically side by side.
The basic rectangle has a ratio of 1: 1.618. The Fibonacci Series represents the closest equivalent in whole numbers to this ratio... ie. 3, 5, 8, 13, 21 etc.. |
