| This portrait was commissioned by the Reserve Bank of Australia when the then Governor of the Bank, Bernie Fraser, was about to retire.
The painting now hangs at the Reserve Bank headquarters in Martin Place, alongside the portraits of previous Governors. Since retiring from the Reserve Bank, Bernie Fraser has become a TV celebrity, doing ads for the Industry Superfunds. |
